Francesca Rivetti, born in Milan in 1972, is a contemporary artist who, through her photography, creates an imaginary world in which the sense of self is detached from space and time.
The artist seeks to capture the essence of phenomena, positioning herself in opposition to the visual excesses of our age. Through a process of reduction, she creates emptiness, exploring the relationship between reality and imagination, themes that have become central to her research over the years.
