A contemporary Italian visual artist and photographer, she has always been fascinated by materiality. Over the course of her decades-long research—marked by exhibitions, artist residencies, and numerous awards—she has carefully investigated reality by observing it, starting from the objects that surrounded her and choosing to render them through photography (and beyond) as new entities stripped of their original meaning, architectures to be explored, subjects to be observed from unprecedented viewpoints in order to open them up to new systems of meaning.
Her strength lies in maintaining a clearly recognizable creative signature and poetic vision, while continuously discovering new facets and perspectives. Although she shows a preference for photography, she also works with confidence in video, drawing, and installation. Her works are included in many private and public collections.
