By interweaving different visual languages such as drawing, textiles, sculpture and performance, Sissi (Bologna 1977) is a multifaceted and innovative artist.
She follows a creative process in which the starting point has always been the body.
She investigates the subjectivity and the social and emotional construction of the body, in an emotional anatomy that sees constant experimentation on different artistic levels, such as performance, sculpture, drawing and photography.
In addition to his work as an artist, she teaches at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna.
