From 10 October to 8 December 2026, Fondazione Cosso presents the exhibition Grazia Toderi. Teatro Terra.
For the Castello di Miradolo, Grazia Toderi has conceived an exhibition journey that intertwines the spaces of the historic residence with video projections, drawings, photographs, raw clay works, glazed terracottas, and light installations. The exhibition brings together different periods of the artist's practice, rarely presented within a single project.
Curated by Roberto Galimberti, with general coordination by Paola Eynard and iconographic consultancy by Enrica Melossi, the project transforms the Castle and Park from a simple exhibition setting into an integral part of both the artwork and the visitor experience.
The exhibition unfolds through the Historic Wing and the New Wing of the Castle, two spaces that become the poles of a reflection built around the two terms of the title.
On one side is Earth, understood both as material substance and as a planet observed through the solitary gaze of satellites; on the other is Theatre, from the Greek théatron, “the place from which one observes”, conceived as a space of vision and representation. These two paths continuously merge and permeate one another, giving shape to a single, unified experience.
Among the works on display is Il mondo privato (2003), from the UniCredit Art Collection.
