From April 2026 to March 2027, customers, visitors and employees are invited to discover two new contemporary art installations by Jana Pressler and Ryke Turin at the bank branch in Berlin Charlottenburg (Leibnizstraße 100, 10625 Berlin).
As part of its long-standing cultural commitment, UniCredit Bank GmbH promotes young and emerging artists by making the two KunstCUBEs "B1" and "B2" in the entrance area of the branch available as exclusive exhibition spaces.
Through a regularly announced "Call for Artists", talented artists are invited to apply with their art concepts. The aim is to support promising young artists from across Germany while creating a platform for artistic exchange and discourse.
in her installation “Pig”, Jana Pressler explores the cultural and historical significance of the piggy bank. Bronze casts taken from the interiors of piggy banks bring what is usually hidden into view and invite reflection on our changing understanding of value and security in an increasingly immaterial, digital world.
With “a soft conversation”, Ryke Turin investigates the tension between contemporary textile art and painting. Her woven paintings detach themselves from the surface and extend into space, deliberately dissolving the boundaries between artistic disciplines. In this way, the artist reveals the process behind her works and unfolds a quiet dialogue between material, structure, color, and space.
The exhibition is open to the public free of charge during the branch’s regular business hours.
