Contemporary Italian artist, her work focuses on the dialogue between nature and humanity. Travel, walking, and exploration are investigated as forms of knowledge through which she establishes a direct relationship with places, interweaving disciplines such as natural sciences, ethnology, geology, geography, cartography, literature, and poetry.
Most of her works emerge from long-term projects that create a dialogue between the slow rhythms of nature and the shorter spans of human existence: from educational processes to the transformations of lichens, glaciers, and geological maps, moving from the micro to the macro.
