Supporting emerging artistic voices is a core part of cultural engagement of Hypovereinsbank. Within this framework, the HVB KunstCUBEs in Munich and Berlin host regularly rotating exhibitions that provide space and visibility for new perspectives in contemporary art.
From October 2025 to October 2026, Chilean-German artist Constanza Camila Kramer Garfias presents her installation “Ngüren 1km” at the HVB KunstCUBE “K4”, located at Kardinal-Faulhaber-Straße 12 in Munich. The work references a collective weaving action by 426 Mapuche weavers in Chile and explores textile as a cultural practice, a medium of memory, and a form of resistance.
Kramer Garfias employs Jacquard weaving as a conceptual tool to critically engage with colonial narratives and visual iconographies. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at ART BASEL Miami Beach, the Arts and Design Museum Toyama (Japan), Gallery Kendra Jayne Patrick (Switzerland), and in exhibitions in Berlin, Munich, and New York.
The exhibition is freely accessible to clients, visitors, and employees during regular business hours (Mon–Fri, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM) in the entrance area of UniCredit Bank GmbH’s Wealth Management & Private Banking division.
