NO ONE EXCLUDED. Languages of the artwork and access to the sensitive

12 September 2025 - 30 August 2026 - Verona

From Friday, September 12, a new exhibition project by Fondazione Cariverona and UniCredit in collaboration with Urbs Picta kicks off in Verona, curated by Cesare Pietroiusti, focusing on art as a full-bodied experience.

Accessing a work of art means opening oneself to an experience that engages the body, gaze, imagination, and thought, exposing oneself to a form of knowledge that is both intellectual and material. This is the starting point of NO ONE EXCLUDED. Languages of the artwork and access to the sensitive, an exhibition project by Fondazione Cariverona and UniCredit with Urbs Picta, curated by Cesare Pietroiusti.

The opening will take place on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 7:00 PM in the halls and courtyard of Fondazione Cariverona, via Achille Forti 3A, and will continue in the 16th-century spaces of UniCredit’s Verona branch at via Giuseppe Garibaldi 1. The exhibition will remain open at both venues until August 30, 2026.

On display are over 50 selected artworks from the collections of Fondazione Cariverona, the UniCredit Art Collection, and the curator himself. The exhibition explores various techniques and styles: from the evocative power of portraits by Umberto Boccioni and Giorgio Morandi, to the formal tensions in sculptures by Alberto Viani and Arcangelo Sassolino; from the visionary interiority of Carlo Zinelli to Luigi Ghirri’s meta-photographic poetics of the everyday; and finally to contemporary experiments by Kateřina Šedá, Claudia Losi, Massimo Bartolini, and Marcello Maloberti.

No One Excluded invites us to think of the artwork not as an object of contemplation, but as an open, relational device capable of embracing plurality.

Special openings without reservation are scheduled for the weekends of September 12–14, 2025, and during Art Verona, on October 10–12, 2025. Guided tours and exhibition activities curated by Urbs Picta will be available during these openings.
