UniCredit Bank GmbH promotes young and emerging artists

Jingwen Yao and Simon Knab present their art installations at UniCredit Bank GmbH’s exclusive exhibition platform in Berlin

From April 2025 to March 2026, customers, visitors and employees are invited to discover the two new art installations by Jingwen Yao and Simon Knab at the bank branch in Berlin Charlottenburg (Leibnizstraße 100, 10625 Berlin).

As part of its long-standing cultural commitment, UniCredit Bank GmbH supports young and emerging artists by making the two KunstCUBEs "B1" and "B2" available in the entrance area of the branch.

Through a "Call for Artists", talented artists are invited to apply for the two exhibition spaces with their art concepts. The aim is to promote promising young artists from all over Germany and to offer a space for experiments and discourse.

In her art project "Tracing Origins", Jingwen Yao deals with the origin of vegetable varieties that are frequently consumed in Germany and Europe. Implemented as a mixed-media installation, the work illuminates the geographical and cultural origins of these everyday foods and traces their paths from distant places of origin to our plates.

With his installation "Sending flowers to space", Simon Knab invites us on a visual journey that blurs the boundaries between earthly beauty and cosmic vastness. With the installation, the artist creates a world in which flowers and galaxies merge into a fascinating unity.

The exhibition is accessible free of charge during the general business hours of the branch.
