    Francesco Candeloro (Venice, Italy, 1974)

Born in 1974 in Venice, Francesco Candeloro graduated from the Venice Academy of Fine Arts in 1997.

The artist places the dimensions of light and colour at the centre of his research, which, together with form and sign, proportion, rhythm and movement, constitute the keys to understanding temporal and spatial dynamics. For Candeloro, ‘art is a vision of time’ where light, whether natural or artificial, is an essential component, casting colourful and changing shadows in the surrounding space, giving life to a universe made up of ‘multiple visions’

He has had numerous solo exhibitions, the most recent being in 2022 at the Galleria Planetario, Trieste, and in 2021 at the Kempen Breed Art Fondation in Amsterdam.

The group exhibitions in which he takes part include Le latitudini dell'arte at Kunstquartier Bethanien in Berlin in 2023, the exhibition Between Space and Surface at Magazzini del sale 3, Venice, in 2021, and the biennial Le latitudini dell'arte Italia Olanda, in Den Haag, Holland, in 2021.
