Vincenzo Simone (Seraing, Belgium, 1980)

Born in Belgium in 1980, today he lives and works in Bologna, where he is refining his research. Starting from the study of the expressive potential of painting and introducing different modes of framing, adapting these supports to impact the communicative needs of the work.

For the artist, there is a close relationship between Art and Life, which are inseparable.

In this vision, painting becomes a daily practice in which the artist finds a continuity in creative flow, as if he were always working on a single, infinite painting, of which the various canvases represent different "stages".

The artist works with the perspective of an eternal youth of painting, capable of crystallizing a sensation and keeping it intact, making it eternal.

Since 2010, he has participated in numerous national exhibitions.

In 2021, he joined the New Bread Oven project together with other people in Bologna, held at the MAMbo Museum there.

His latest solo exhibition "The Sleeping Ones" opened at the Spazio Petroni in Bologna in 2023.
